No Corel DRAW X5 for mac users
The newest version of the great CorelDRAW X6 offers great vector controls, tracing and much more. It's precise, intuitive, powerful and easy to use.
I've always loved using CorelDraw since version 2 back on 1992. Mac versions were available, but since version 11 on 2002 Corel discontinued them due to poor sales.
It's now 2012 and I think it's about time Corel came out with a mac version again. Mac sales have never been better and most of the creative industry uses them. And no one is going back to the dark ages of windows and PCs.
So if you agree with me, please send and email to corel with a request. Maybe we will be heard!
Exporting HTML5 from Illustrator
A new add-on from Adobe adds HTML5-specific features to Adobe Illustrator CS5.
This add-on allows you to export designs directly from illustrator CS5 into HTML5 code. It exports images as a combination of SVG and CSS3. According to Adobe, this will be compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Safari and hopefully IE9.
